Orange & Chocolate

Introducing new colours!

Oranges are a fairly new venture at Barrow Bunnies. Our foundation doe is a beautiful chocolate orange double mane, 'Madeira' from Chintastic Stud. We have brought in chocolates as a step towards creating more chocolate oranges. The project is very much in it's infancy.

Don't quite know how it happened but a chocolate orange double maned doe slipped through the net and in to the shed. Guess we'll have to keep her! Madiera has now had her first litter to Rubix and has two doe kits in the nest an orange and a choc butterfly, clever girl!

Here is Boo, a young chocolate undermarked butterfly single mane doe, litter sister to the choc orange below. Both have nice type and lopped well at a young age. She just has a little white on her nose tip and is undermarked over her shoulders.
We shall run them both on as this is our first generation for the new orange project, so quite a way to go yet.
This lovely little girl will be used to produce solids (and if any nice butterfly patterns come out all the better)

Nikita is a young chocolate orange single mane doe we have bred.
She has a lovely clear orange colour and a thick coat with an abundant mane/bib (at the moment!)

Both girls have fabulous personalities!
Better photos to follow.
