ORANGE LION LOP PROJECT
We are loosely working towards orange, but will keep back any non extension or chocolate based/ carrier rabbits of good quality in both miniature lion lop and miniature lop, no conforming rabbit will be left behind!
We take pride in the fact that we try to breed our lion lops to the same high standards as our miniature lops, hence using both miniature lops and miniature lion lops in this project.

Barrow Bunnies Ginger Root 'Ginger'

Barrow Bunnies Ginger is a lovely petite buck out of Ophelia (agouti dm ll doe) and Basil (choc orange sm ll buck).
He is a beautiful colour, with ample mane and bib, good crown, ears and short length of body, but lacks elevation, tone and could do with a denser coat (although maybe judging a bit early, this may improve). We are very lucky to have him as his fathers successor, whom died when he was a baby. Here's to carrying on the good work Ginger! Go on son! 01.04.15 Ginger has 1CC, 2 stars and 1 BoB. |
Barrow Bunnies Basil Junior 'B.J.'

Barrow Bunnies BJ is out of Basil (choc orange sm ll buck) and Gilly (cinammon mantle ml doe).
He's turned out a really chunky boy with lovely coat. His colour needs some work but as he's intended for oranges we aren't too fussed. He has the personality to match his looks and is a lovely placid boy. 10.03.15 BJ has 2CC's and 4 stars. |

BB Acey is a lovely chocolate sm buck. Bred out of BB Curacao and BB Pink Lady. A useful boy for our orange project. Now proven.

Pink lady is a double maned chocolate orange brood doe out of Muse (sm choc self doe) and Basil (sm choc orange buck). She was lightly shown as a youngster before looking too matronly!

Rubix is a chocolate mantle miniature lop buck. He is such a cutie! He has the most adorable chops! He is a bit slipped in the crown, but has a nice coat, stance (although not great in this pic), bone and skull.
He remains here as a beloved pet. 09.10.10 |
WALL OF FAME
A slide show of rabbits that do not play an active part in our breeding programme or show team presently but have done in the past. Some are retired loved pets, others went on to help other breeders, some have gone over the rainbow bridge. Each and every one of them were appreciated and deserve a place on our otter wall of fame!
